An inspection can reveal many unseen and unrecognizable problems that always show up when you try to sell your house and sometimes are the cause of some illnesses!

Moisture Problems

Excess humidity can create many problems in homes and offices that you cannot see, but do show up through a wide variety of symptoms like:

  • Chronic cough or burning eyes

  • Ice buildup on doors &  windows

  • Expanding woodwork

  • Presence of mold & odors

Temperatures

Extreme cold or hot areas in your space can indicate:

  • Ventilation design is inadequate

  • High humidity levels present

  • Building & construction problems

  • Worn seals or missing caulking

Building Structure

Buildings settle over time but they also show signs of damage & instability due to:

  • Improper construction practices

  • Bad grading outside the building

  • Worn building components

  • Damage that hasn't been repaired

Through the use of technology & science combined with 30 years of inspection experience and overall material knowledge, finding the source of the problems you are experiencing in your home, apartment, business, farm, or property, is something we can help with.  Whether it's general building inspections, health & safety related concerns, or even user complications, we can help.

Knowing the ins & outs of building development and material suitability gives you a 3D, almost forensic "X-ray approach" to building inspection that provides you the customer with a solid understanding of what you have to deal with, and not simply just what you see!

It's important to remember that every persons threshold to issues like mold and odors are completely different.  One person can live in an air & water quality concern, or a serious building or safety issue without notice, and another person would get sick or injured immediately, so knowing what can cause these issues is of vital importance in finding the cause of the concern itself.  That is what building codes and regulations are all about!

A lot of "well meaning" though goes in some building repairs, but the selection of building materials, proper installation, sequence of application, and lack of long term forethought can allow the issue to reappear over time.  Basically, a lot of times, only the symptom is repaired so the core problem can return sometimes over very long periods of time.   That can be very frustrating!
